Daily Bible Readings
Monday — Come Back to Jesus- John 21:1–14
Jesus meets the disciples in their weariness and disappointment and simply says, “Come and have breakfast.”
Reflect: Where might Jesus be inviting me to come back to him?
Tuesday — Put First Things First -Matthew 6:25–34
Jesus reminds us to “seek first the kingdom of God.” Life will always compete for our attention, but Jesus calls us to organize our lives around God’s kingdom.
Reflect: What has been receiving more of my attention than it should?
Wednesday — Grace Gives Us a New Beginning -Luke 15:11–24
The prodigal discovers that coming home isn't met with condemnation but with grace. God always leaves room for a reset.
Reflect: Is there an area of my life where I need to stop running and come home to God?
Thursday — Forget What Lies Behind-Philippians 3:7–16
Paul refuses to allow either his accomplishments or failures to define his future. He presses forward because Christ has already made him his own.
Reflect: What from yesterday do I need to release so I can faithfully follow Jesus today?
Friday — Make Jesus the Center-Colossians 1:15–20
Paul describes Jesus as the One through whom and for whom everything exists. Jesus isn't simply one priority among many; he is the center that gives everything else its proper place.
Reflect: If Jesus were truly at the center of my schedule, relationships, finances, and decisions, what might change?
Saturday — Follow Me-Luke 9:23–25, 57–62
Following Jesus isn't merely something we add to an already crowded life. It becomes the direction of our whole life.
Reflect: What is one concrete step I can take today to put Jesus first?
Prayer for the Week:
Jesus, reset my heart. Help me release what is behind, reorder what has become misplaced, and put you at the center of my life. Give me grace to follow you—not perfectly, but faithfully—one prayer, one decision, one act of love, and one step at a time. Amen.
